Southern States® Birdsfoot Trefoil

Southern States Birdsfoot Trefoil is a small seeded, perennial legume used for pasture, hay or silage. This Birdsfoot Trefoil performs well in a variety of soil types and is more tolerant of wet soil conditions than other legumes. Because of its ability to produce under less than optimum conditions, Birdsfoot Trefoil is perfect for poorer soils. Plant in pure stands, or use in mixtures with other forage legumes and forage grasses. Birdsfoot trefoil can also be interseeded into existing pastures.
